Great fun and games at all-night camping

Parents and kids of Summerhill Prep recently enjoyed an all-night camp-out. Organised by the school’s parents’ association (PA) this was a fund-raiser not too be missed. Pony rides were on offer until dark. Everyone enjoyed the adventure and were singing songs around the fire. These songs introduced them to the lingo of “Eskimos” and “Red Indians”.
Around the braai fires parents got to know one another. The children had a super time playing in the dark.
There was some rain but that did not seem to dampen anyone’s spirit. The next morning breakfast rolls were cooked and sold by the members of the PA.
